This is my final single in a year that no one could have seen coming and that held so many struggles and opening doors for me. It was a year of surprises. Throughout this year I was steadily accompanied by this one melody: the melody of my piece GLAUBE. It is so simple and yet intriguing. All through the year I have been singing, humming, whistling it almost daily. I used it to calm myself during self doubts and depression and hummed it thousand times to comfort our baby to sleep. I was hesitant a long time if a piece of music that short and simple can make a proper release. Now I know: yes it can. For this year, GLAUBE has been the most dear and important music I have written so far and I am glad, music made this melody come to me back in 2018 to become a dear friend accompanying the light and dark of the year that has almost past. GLAUBE was the musical light that shone bringt throughout my past 12 months.

Right in the middle of a phase of deep uncertainty and self-doubts, I recorded GLAUBE. With this release I am giving you 3 tracks that I recorded the same day in my living room with windows wide open. Back then I was mistrusting myself and my art, questioning if anyone would care for it. But the following months opened my heart of a change of perspective: it is not the energies that we receive for what we do that matter, but the energies that we are emitting to the world. When I listen to these open window recordings now, I feel myself emitting energy through music into the world from the bottom of who I am. Even if I wasn’t able to take that perspective back then, I now see the beauty in playing my music just for the trees outside my living room window and it feels opening and precious to be able to see myself that way now. Now music speaks through me and I can speak freely through her. This potential has always been there, I just needed to get aware of it completely.
